1. No professional advice
All information published on the Beacons Grant Solutions platform — including, without limitation, eligibility guidance, jurisdiction notices, deadlines, regulatory references, and process descriptions — is provided strictly for general informational purposes. It does not constitute, and must not be relied upon as, legal, tax, immigration, accounting, financial, or investment advice. You are solely responsible for obtaining qualified professional advice in your jurisdiction before acting upon any information presented on the platform.
2. No guarantee of approval, funding, or timing
The submission of an application through the platform creates no entitlement to approval, to any specific grant amount, to disbursement within any particular timeframe, or to any future funding cycle. Each application is reviewed on its individual merits against the published criteria of the relevant grant programme, jurisdiction, and funding window, and may be rejected, partially funded, or held pending further information at the sole discretion of Beacons.
3. Mandatory United States foreign tax withholding
Beacons is a United States entity. Where a grant is approved for a non-United States beneficiary, Beacons is required by law to withhold thirty percent (30%) of the gross approved grant amount as a Foreign Tax Withholding pursuant to the United States Internal Revenue Code, sections 1441 and 1442 (26 U.S.C. §§1441–1442) and the regulations promulgated thereunder. The net amount disbursed to a foreign beneficiary will therefore equal seventy percent (70%) of the approved gross grant.
A beneficiary may reduce or eliminate this withholding only by submitting a valid and current IRS Form W-8BEN (individuals) or Form W-8BEN-E (entities), together with supporting evidence of treaty entitlement, prior to disbursement. Beacons makes no representation that any particular treaty applies to a given beneficiary and accepts no liability arising from withholding lawfully made.
4. No fees from applicants — fraud notice
Beacons does not charge applicants any fee — whether described as a processing fee, release fee, clearance fee, tax pre-payment, courier fee, "activation" fee, or otherwise — to submit an application, to review an application, to receive an approval certificate, or to receive disbursed funds. Any person, agent, intermediary, or website demanding such a payment is acting fraudulently. Report any such demand immediately to support@beaconsgrant.com. Beacons will not reimburse losses sustained by applicants who pay any third party in the mistaken belief that such payment is required by Beacons.
5. Permitted use of grant funds
Funds disbursed by Beacons are awarded on the express condition that they will be applied solely to address the bona fide charitable, social-impact, or economic-relief purpose described in the original application, within the declared jurisdiction, and in accordance with the executed Beneficiary Declaration. Funds shall not, under any circumstances, be used or transferred — directly or indirectly — to fund, support, sponsor, or facilitate terrorism, terrorist organisations, persons designated on any United States or international sanctions list, or any other unlawful activity. Beacons reserves the right to suspend disbursement, demand repayment, and report misuse to competent authorities.
6. Verification certificates and authoritative record
Approval certificates issued by Beacons bear a unique reference code and verification QR code. The authoritative and binding record of any approval is the live verification entry maintained at https://beaconsgrant.com/verify; a printed certificate alone is not proof of payment, of entitlement, or of the current status of the grant. In the event of any discrepancy between a printed document and the live verification entry, the live entry shall prevail.
7. Third-party content and links
The platform may reference statutes, regulators, jurisdictions, or external websites operated by third parties. Beacons is not responsible for the accuracy, lawfulness, or content of any third-party material, and the inclusion of any reference does not constitute endorsement, partnership, or sponsorship.
8. Accuracy of information
Whilst Beacons makes commercially reasonable efforts to maintain accurate and current information, laws, deadlines, exchange rates, treaty positions, and grant criteria change without notice. Beacons makes no warranty that any content on the platform is current, complete, or error-free, and disclaims all liability for any decision taken in reliance upon it.
9. Platform provided "as is"
The platform is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Beacons shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, nor for any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or in connection with: (i) your use of, or inability to use, the platform; (ii) the outcome of any grant application; (iii) any delay, suspension, or non-disbursement of funds; or (iv) reliance on any information published on the platform. Refer to the Terms of Service for the full limitation of liability and the indemnity given by users.
11. Reporting fraud, misuse, or inaccuracies
If you identify inaccurate information, suspect fraudulent use of the Beacons name, or become aware of misuse of disbursed funds, you must report it without delay to support@beaconsgrant.com. Beacons cooperates with regulators and law enforcement and will investigate every credible report.
